Oops... I Arted!

On this weblog I will post cartoon strips, drawings, one panel cartoons, sketches, and updates on the Lubbock comics community. I hope to get feedback, increase my artistic skills, and get 'those' ideas out of my head. Feel free to critique me.

There I sat all broken hearted,
tried to draw but only Arted.
Now I choose not to sweat it,
I can Art and not regret it.

Evolution vs Intelligent Design ...a third alternative?

With the growing controversy about Evolution vs Intelligent Design, its comforting to know that there is a third alternative.

August Lubbock Comics Jam is Coming!

Woot!

The Comics Jam will be held at J & B Coffee (26th and Boston) in the back room, Monday August 15th from 8:00-11:00pm.

If you don't know what a comics jam is:

"A comics jam is simply a gathering of comics/cartoon artists from around the area in which we each begin a comic page with one panel (on any subject. When we are done with the first panel we pass the page to the next available artist. They simply continue the comic (using their own ideas of how it should go). They in turn pass it on until the page (or story if one page can't hold it) is finished. The end result is often funny and usually suprising."

If you are interested in coming, or have ideas for us, just visit the UglyPuppy Studio's Website.

Hope to see some peoples (with art paraphernalia) there!

I'm a deviant....but that's ok.

I just joined DeviantArt.com a sort of art community on the web.

I mostly joined to comment on my new friend NinjaDog who has a really cool Manga style.

However, I think its time I opened my sketchbook to everyone. So, I'm using my deviantart account to display my sketches. I'll update here when I have something new in the album.

Also, here is my first button for this blog:

Take care!

This gives you the idea, but the original is much more polished.
